COOPERATION WITH SCHOOLS AND INTERKULTyouth

THU 22.9.2016 from 12 to 3 pm, STOA, PUHOS

The festival’s audience development focuses on the art courses to be organized at partner schools, as well as on the one-day event INTERKULTyouth. At the collaborating schools will be organized a series of workshops representing various forms of the performing arts. The workshops will deal with themes which have come straight from the youngsters such as bullying, racism, otherness or identity. During the one-day event, the youngsters will participate on a live city game constructed with the collaboration of Inside Job Agency in the surroundings of Stoa and Puhos shopping centre. The day will end at Stoa’s theatre hall, where the youngsters will watch the dance performance 100 LIKES by Black Box Dance Company.

The schools cooperating with the festival this year are Latokartano’s primary school, Maunula’s mixed school and Mathematics High School, Finnish-Russian school and Laajasalo’s primary school.
